Most dog training companies will put off-leash training as the end goal. It’s the thing that you work towards. The ultimate achievement. But that’s not realistic in life. Off-leash walking should be a result of trust, relationship, and clear communication, which means it should be something achieved early on in your training journey. It does have to be taught, and recall has to be practiced, but the foundations of these skills are the same as any other behavior modification.
We can help you get the freedom that comes from a leashless existence. You and your dog will be able to explore your favorite trails, go to parks, and walk all through town without having to worry that one or the other of you is going to get lost or lose control. Our trainers will start things off by evaluating your dog’s breed, size, temperament, personality, and behavioral history so that they can develop a personalized training plan. Successful training requires a certain amount of flexibility, and we’re here to offer it.
